Reid Health Pledges $100,000 to Support Fayette County Community Impact Fund
The Fayette Community Foundation is thrilled to announce that Reid Health’s extraordinary $100,000 pledge to the unrestricted Fayette County Community Impact Fund has helped officially complete the Foundation’s Lilly Endowment Inc. GIFT VIII Matching Fund Grant.
Thanks to Reid Health’s leadership and generosity, the Foundation has now fully met its $375,000 fundraising goal, unlocking the full $2:$1 match from Lilly Endowment. Reid Health’s commitment qualifies entirely for the match, resulting in a total impact of $300,000 for Fayette County.
“This gift not only helped us cross the finish line—it ensures lasting, meaningful support for our community,” said Abigail Roszell, Executive Director of the Fayette Community Foundation. “Reid Health’s investment strengthens the endowment and will provide approximately $12,000 in additional unrestricted grantmaking dollars every year, forever, right here in Fayette County.”
The unrestricted Fayette County Community Impact Fund enables the Foundation to respond to evolving needs and support a wide range of initiatives across the community. With this strengthened fund, future grants can support programs related to health and wellness, education, neighborhood revitalization, arts and culture, nonprofit capacity, and other emerging priorities.
Reid Health’s pledge demonstrates a deep commitment to improving the well-being of residents throughout the region. By contributing to an unrestricted endowment, Reid Health has ensured that its gift will support today’s needs—and tomorrow’s opportunities—long into the future.
