Art Programming Funded by FCF
There will be many options for those wanting to attend art classes in 2018. Thanks in part to a $2,500 grant from the Foundation, the Whitewater Valley Arts Association will be hosting “One Stop Workshops” throughout the year for all skill levels, ages, and interests. Classes will range from drawing to pouring acrylics. WVAA President Sharon McQueen said, “Participants will spend 2-3 hours on a Saturday and leave with a fun, finished project. Art is an important aspect of any community’s health and vitality. The programs that we’ll be running are an introduction into the captivating and creative world of art. We want to stir up excitement about art!”
