Teresa Price Awarded Martha Dorsett Scholarship
Teresa Price achieved her dream 22 years in the making. After more than two decades as a stay-at-home-mom and working odd jobs, Teresa enrolled in IU East, from where she graduated three years later after receiving the Chancellor’s Award. Teresa’s financial burden to attend school was lessened when she was awarded the Martha Dorsett Scholarship for Continuing Education, which is stewarded by the Fayette County Foundation. The Foundation awards more than 30 traditional and three adult learner scholarships every year. The Foundation is proud to have helped Teresa, as she said, “do it big, and do it right.”
