Foundation Scholarship Endowment Awards: Noah Gibson

Noah Gibson, the son of Keith and Kelly Gibson, all of Connersville, received the Class of 1962 Scholarship an endowment of the Fayette County Foundation.  This scholarship requires that applicants have at least a 3.0 GPA and are a graduating senior of Connersville High School.  Preference is given to students who are descendants of members of the Class of 1962.

Class of 1962 Scholarship was created in 2008 with initial gifts from classmates Sara Poe and Helen Sanders.

Noah Gibson was an athlete throughout his time at CHS.  He was a member of the baseball and soccer teams all four years, being ranked at least once as the MVP of each team.  Noah is now studying architecture at Ball State University.  He chose architecture as a way to provide something everyone can use.  Noah said, “baseball, soccer, class council, they have all shown me to be a leader and try to help those around you.”

This year the Foundation awarded 34 scholarships to 19 students with $100,337 in tuition funds awarded.

Congratulations, Noah!
