Competitive Grant Cycle
Apply for a Competitive Grant
The Fayette Community Foundation’s mission is to inspire a spirit of philanthropy and leadership in Fayette County to enhance the quality of life. One of the key ways we bring this mission to life is through our annual grant cycle, which invites charitable organizations to apply for funding that supports impactful community projects. These grants are made possible thanks to the generosity of donors who have established Community Impact endowed funds and other permanently endowed funds. Learn more about these vital sources of support and how they make a lasting difference here.
Interested in applying for a grant $2,500 or less? Instead of going through the competitive grant cycle, please fill out a mini grant application.
Application Process
Step 1: Review Your Eligibility
Strong applications are mission-driven, align with the Foundation’s funding priorities, and are designed to make a long-term difference in the community.
Before applying, we encourage you to read our Grantmaking Guidelines. The Foundation does not fund the same project annually, so sustainability beyond the grant period is key.
Unsure about your eligibility? Contact Program Officer Nyah Frank at nfrank@givetofcf.com or (765) 827-9966.
Note: Organizations that are not 501(c)(3)s—such as service clubs or neighborhood associations—may collaborate with eligible nonprofits. The eligible partner will serve as fiscal agent and project lead.
